Nikolas Zakhar Delphis is the eldest son and child between Antonius Delphis and his beloved wife Ammyana Aynokion, and is the older brother to Nicaise, Nox, and Nadiya.
Nikolas is currently the youngest Captain to ever be in charged of a division, his being Division Four with his lieutenants being Rohan Acestor and Kazim Shiruva. Succeeding his mother Ammyana Aynokion as she was the previous Captain of Division Four. Nikolas is also the 28th head of the House of Delphis.

Mercurius Artaios - Nikolas possesses a transformation-type Arcana that allows him to manipulate the element of Mercury and become it.
- Mercury Manipulation - Nikolas can create, shape and manipulate mercury, heavy, silvery-white, poisonous metallic element, and a good conductor of electricity, mercury is the only metal that is liquid at standard conditions for temperature and pressure.
- Mercury Mimicry - He can transform his body completely into mercury. Nikolas transformed form is anatomically identical to his normal form. Despite this Nikolas liquid mercury form is non-organic. Nikolas in his mercury form has all the properties of mercury in the given form, including resistance to heat and a sort of heat detection capability. He can create an intense pressure around his surroundings just from releasing it, and manifest a large eagle from his mana power. Nikolas' magic requires precise control and he can maintain that level of control in areas of dense and chaotic mana.

Nikolas is a brilliant chemist, able to calculate a plethora of chemical substances with a variety of effect. At the university, he was even able to induce chemical embrittlement to a four-hundred pound ball of tungsten carbide, an incredibly dense substance, turning it to dust by mere touch afterwards. His knowledge in chemistry is thorough enough for him to calculate and input custom chemicals in his head at incredible speeds without having use of calculator or a computer. He also invented the Chem-(*&*) that many non-Arcana users in the Alpheratz Union and was the invention that promoted him from the Ensign to Lieutenant while still in the academy then his grandmother Augusta Delphis gave him a extreme lesson in humility and leadership making him earn his later promotions through hard-work and dedication.

- Nikolas is a form of Nicholas which is from the Greek name Νικόλαος (Nikolaos) meaning "victory of the people", derived from Greek νίκη (nike) meaning "victory" and λαός (laos) meaning "people".
